How to Help

For over 40 years, with your help, WaterLife Pregnancy Care Center has been meeting the physical and spiritual needs of men and women in the Outer Banks region who find themselves facing an unplanned pregnancy. We provide education programs, abortion recovery counseling, ultrasounds, and baby supplies at no cost for the individuals served through various mentoring programs. With the overturning of Roe v Wade, our reach is expanding, but our needs are also increasing due to the ease of accessibility to chemical abortion with over-the-counter and mail-order drugs.

This important, life-affirming work can only continue with your partnership!

PRAY

• Pray to protect the preborn.
• Pray for the protection and perseverance of our staff.
• Pray to the Lord of the Harvest that he will send workers.
  • New Board Members are needed to fill vacancies.
    
  • We are hiring for a Part-time Nurse Position
• Pray over the big changes the Lord is orchestrating at the center.
  • We have begun an intensive medical accreditation process.
  • We have acquired a new facility to increase our capacity for meeting with clients.
  • The new WaterLife facility will require funds beyond our current budget to remodel the space to meet our administrative and medical needs.
    

PARTNER

• Organize Youth Fundraisers that support WaterLife.
• Host a Baby Shower to stock our Baby Boutique and ensure clients continue to receive quality items as they participate in our programs.
  • Consider donating to our Amazon Diaper Fund.
• Consider making a monthly financial gift to the center.
• Become a WaterLife Ambassador to keep your church and circle of friends informed of prayer needs and opportunities to participate in our events.
• Join the Board of Directors.
• Become a Thrift Store Volunteer.

PARTICIPATE

• Give to the annual baby bottle campaign.
  • This fundraiser is active from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day, but you can choose to collect your loose change throughout the year!

Our Volunteers

You are the most valuable asset to WaterLife Pregnancy Care Center. Whether you are volunteering at the center or thrift store, hosting a baby shower, or bringing baby clothes for our clients, you encourage our staff to give more of themselves, be more patient with our clients, and generous with the gifts we offer our clients.

Volunteers can sort clothing and help keep the thrift store running smoothly or become a client advocate at the center. There are opportunities to help by assisting the administrative assistant with newsletters or phone calls and helping with annual events like the Baby Bottle Campaign or Walk for Life.

Your willingness to give us your time is an asset we absolutely cannot afford to be without. Thank you for freely giving us “YOU.”
